We were there in May to film Mark and Marion’s truly epic wedding. Having got in touch only a couple of months beforehand, we were thrilled to be a part of their day, alongside fabulous Laura Mac on photography.
Mark and Marion’s love story started 14 years ago when they first dated. Time wasn’t on their side however, and they parted ways shortly after. A few years ago, by chance, they found another again; and this time it was the real deal. The first time was, in Mark’s words, a case of right person, wrong time.
As a result, their wedding was truly a day to celebrate their love with their nearest and dearest; many of whom had travelled from all across the world to see their friends tie the knot in sunny Oxfordshire.
The Tythe Barn is a stunning 14th-century stone barn, complete with high ceilings, beautiful beams and vintage charm. Originally used to store crops collected as tithes for the local church, it has been lovingly restored to preserve its historical integrity while offering modern amenities.
