Noemi got in touch in June to arrange a family photoshoot at the Confetti Fields with her husband and little boy.
Of course I said yes and we made plans to meet on a Sunday at the fields, hoping for good weather (especially since they’d driven from Bristol!). Obviously, it’s the UK so we had torrential rain for the majority of the shoot. Noemi wasn’t deterred – we persevered and managed to dodge the rain and get some beautiful photos of all of them together.
Their two-year-old son was such a cheeky, happy chappy. While he wasn’t too impressed with the camera, I’m super happy with the photos we did manage to get of him – especially when his dad started tickling him. These are my favourite photos of the lot.
We made use of the different colours and heights, mixing up just Noemi and her hubby (it’s so hard to get nice couple photos, isn’t it?) to all three of them playing around in the flowers.
Booking a family photoshoot means you can concentrate on just being yourselves, together, without worrying about which one of you will take the photos while the other looks after your little ones. It means all of those candid, natural moments where you’re at your most relaxed will be captured for you to remember forever.
They say you should never work with children or animals – but I think this statement couldn’t be further from the truth. Babies, toddlers, children – they’re all amazing and individual, and being asked to photograph their quirks and expressions makes me so happy!
We’ll be back at the Confetti Fields again next year, so if you’d like to book a family photoshoot, or just one for the two of you, please get in touch and we can get it booked in for 2022!
