Manor by the Lake is such a wonderful wedding venue – both from a couple perspective but also for photography and film.
The house is steeped in Victorian history, blending classic elegance with contemporary luxury. The gorgeous interiors provide a sophisticated setting for the reception, with panelled walls, secret passages and a brilliant rock bar. The venue’s dedicated events team is well-versed in accommodating the unique requirements of Indian fusion weddings, ensuring a seamless and culturally sensitive celebration.
We were there in April, photographing and filming Manveer and Stefania’s gorgeous Indian/Italian fusion wedding.
With this being our first Manor by the Lake wedding for photography and videography, we weren’t sure what to expect – but it truly is perfect. There are so many different rooms and grounds – and even though you’re two minutes away from a dual carriageway, you’d never know. You truly feel like you could be anywhere!
Stefania’s Italian heritage meant a civil ceremony during the day – outside under the beautiful pavilion, with the sun shining down – before changing in the evening to Indian dress to celebrate Manveer’s Indian roots. They’re also holding a Catholic ceremony in Italy later in the year.
We love an outfit change at a wedding, especially when the evening outfits are so full of colour like Stefania’s beautiful coral wedding dress that she had tailor made.
We were made to feel so welcome by Manveer, Stefania, and all their guests. The speeches were so heartfelt; Manveer even serenaded us all by singing Ed Sheeran in Italian as a surprise to Stefania! Absolutely amazing.
