Jardian and Lee were married on a gorgeous Autumnal Monday in October at the beautiful Clock Barn in Hampshire and Becky was there to photograph!
The day started off quite cloudy, but by the time the ceremony had finished the sun was out and we were treated to the most gorgeous golden hour. Autumn golden hour is our favourite of all the seasons! There’s something so glowy and warm in the light.
Jardian and Lee have been together for years; between them they have their cheeky little boy, Theo, and also Jardian’s lovely older son, Jayden. Both boys acted as ring bearers during the ceremony – a mission that they smashed!
Wedding photography at Clock Barn is a dream as the venue is just perfect for holding weddings.
The small ceremony room, where Jardian and Lee opted to get married, is just right for a small, intimate wedding ceremony, while the larger barn where we had the wedding breakfast is also a beautiful option for bigger weddings. And right at the entrance of the venue is the distinctive thatched clock tower – a great backdrop for group photos.
Clock Barn is one of our favourite venues. There’s a building specifically for getting ready in during the morning, with plenty of space for hair and make up, hanging options for wedding outfits and a cute little private garden for photos with your wedding squad. Even the bathroom is gorgeous. We love a nice bathroom.
You’re spoilt for choice with a Clock Barn Wedding with outdoor space for couple shots too, with barns (one in particular is a very pleasant shade of green which makes for a great backdrop), long driveways and huge fields which are ideally situated for chasing golden hour.
And inside the main building there’s ample room for small or large ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and a great dance floor. Jardian and Lee chose to have a live band during their reception, who were incredible and really got the dance floor moving!
My heart was so, so full when I left the venue in the evening. Jardian and Lee’s wedding vows to one another were absolutely gorgeous, and I genuinely don’t think there was a dry eye in sight (definitely not mine, anyway). Their speeches were utterly hilarious, especially the best man’s. The wedding party entered the breakfast by performing the Jerusalema dance – and what an entrance!
We’re back filming and photographing a Clock Barn wedding in August 2023, and we can’t wait to go back again! This time Dean will come too for the videography side, which is so exciting.
I’ll leave you now with a few of my favourite photos from the day, as well as Jardian’s lovely words upon receiving the pictures 🙂
And if you’re getting married at Clock Barn or anywhere else for that matter and need a photographer or videographer, please check out our previous work and don’t hesitate to contact us!
